There is not doubt that Colleen McQuigley, an amazing snowboarder and passionate surfer, is totally enjoying those special moments of her life

Lying on the Californian sand I’ve been thinking about how good some moments are and how bad we want to remember them for the rest of our livesI’ve travelled quite a few with my family when I was a younger and in many of those trips we would never have a camera with us: no pictures, no videos, no visual souvenirs but our own memories. So when I first began taking pictures I wanted to capture those fantastic and unique moments, fit them in my frame as they where in my memory, but of course I had to learn how to capture the moments with my camera and not just getting a view or a pretty face.
Sometimes though I wonder if I’ll miss some special instants because I’m seeing them through my visor instead of really living them…
